About Me

My name is Trang Nguyen, and I bring a rich background in literature and linguistics to my work as a professional translator and interpreter. Originally from Vietnam, where I worked as a literature lecturer, I have since completed a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and a PhD in Education from La Trobe University in Australia.

I started as a NAATI Certified Interpreter in 2017, and I now dedicate myself full-time to providing high-quality translation and interpreting services. Based in Melbourne, I am deeply passionate about language and communication. When I’m not working, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.

Translation - English to Vietnamese

I provide translation services across various fields, including legal, medical, education, immigration, and website content, among others.
For me, effective translation goes beyond the literal meaning of words. It involves capturing the spirit, tone, and intention of the original text while considering the target audience.

Interpreting

I provide both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting between English and Vietnamese, available on-site, over the phone, or via video.
My interpreting services cover a range of settings, such as courtrooms, hospitals, conferences, seminars, workshops, and weddings.
